Charity dinners are for the rich.

This is not that.

The top 1% of U.S. households have incomes starting at $659,000 to $787,000. Measured by net worth, that number starts at $11.6M.

Almost all U.S. citizens are closer to the poverty line than they are to the wealthiest 1%.

Dinners for the 99% seeks to drive commonality between people who are otherwise disconnected — from each other, and from the change they wish to see. It hopes to help spark a movement that spans classes and activates as a bloc to protect our common interests.

What can I expect from a dinner?

Each dinner is co-sponsored by a nonprofit or activist cause, who will partner with us to develop a unique program customized for that evening. Both the guest list and the topic rotates. Not a single dinner is the same as the last.

What to expect from a dinner:

  • Intimate and considered discussion
  • A coursed, curated dinner menu
  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

What you'd bring to the dinner

  • An open and curious mind
  • An appetite
  • Your own perspective and expertise

Tickets are sliding scale, with suggested at $50 per seat. A limited number of $10 tickets are available based on need.

Dinners for the 99% is not-for-profit; all proceeds from the dinner go directly to support the project’s operational costs.
